    Teaching and Coaching Experience

I have over 25 years of experience in Teaching, coaching from all over the world (countries ranging from Ghana to France to Japan to Taiwan, etc.) in improving their performance in all endeavors.

I have worked for the office of admissions for both Wharton and MIT. Currently I am working with University of Pennsylvania admissions, conducting interviews for the incoming class of 2018.

I taught a class on entrepreneurship for a high school in Taiwan. Students used this class experience to successfully apply to the top universities in the US. Students learned how to create a successful business. Students learned to write and give presentations in English. Later, students from my class were accepted to Yale, Princeton, Wellesley, Columbia, Georgetown, Parsons, UCBerkeley and UCLA.

I am presently coaching Chinese students from Guangzhou as to “How to apply to a top tier US university”. I review their applications, help them rewrite and polish their essays and do mock interviews with them.

I went MIT, Wharton and a top French Engineering school – Ecole Centrale – Paris. I have maintained a relationship with professors and the recruiting office at MIT and Wharton. I worked as a business school application reviewer at Wharton – I read as many as 20 applications a week – evaluating and ultimately ranking the applicants. I truly understand the admissions process – both as an applicant and as an application reviewer.

I am an adjunct Professor at New York University, Baruch – the business school at the City University of New York, Mercy College, and the American Institute for Banking, all here in New York. I have taught many business classes at these schools, including How to write the perfect business plan, Business Writing, Economics, Entrepreneurship, International Business and graduate classes in both Marketing and Business Strategy.

At these universities – I have many foreign students in my classes – predominately Asian students, many of whom were female. I found that some young women were a little lost in the free wheeling style of the US university. I took extra time with these women – making them think, not memorize, getting them to ask probing questions, not just take notes and I worked long and hard to get them to give persuasive presentations.
